The Northeast Monsoon or “Hangin Amihan” will bring light rains to Cagayan, Aurora and Quezon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

”The region of Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains,” PAGASA said on its 5:00 a.m. Weather Bulletin Saturday.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the remaining parts of Luzon is forecast to have isolated light rains, brought by partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies.

Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, will experience isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. The areas are also projected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

The state-run weather bureau has also warned that moderate to rough winds — coming from the northeast — will blow over the coastal waters of Luzon and Visayas. Thus, it has issued a gale warning in the two areas.

With the warning, fisherfolks and those with small boats are advised not to head out to Luzon and Visayas waters.

For Mindanao, the coastal waters will be slight to moderate, due to the light to moderate winds blowing in the area. PNA
